Cougar Canyon Nature Conservancy

 3,000 acres of adjacent conservation lands protect the tranquility of Cougar Canyon’s natural setting. In return, Cougar Canyon residents take particular pride in becoming stewards of the land.

This is the driving principle behind Cougar Canyon's Nature Conservatory: on-going education that will inform residents and guests alike how to coexist with the native flora and fauna so that elk, deer, antelope, foxes, and eagles will continue to thrive at Cougar Canyon.

Planned activities and programs will include numerous opportunities to participate in conservation programs, guided walks and educational talks. The Nature Conservatory also provides a framework for neighbors to create clubs that reflect their interests, from bird watching to gardening with wildflowers.

Cougar Canyon has and will continue to attract a community of like-minded souls who want to enjoy the incredible beauty and rich history of this storied place without destroying the very qualities that make life here so special.
